Part I
- Niche- the full range of physical and biological conditions where an organism lives and the way the organism uses those conditions.
- An organism's niche can be determined by where it sits in the food web, the range of temperature the organism needs to survive, the type of food the organism eats, how it obtains food, and the other species that use that organism for food.
- The thorny devil is an organism in the desert biome. It eats little black ants so it lives near ant hills. It also must live in a place where it has cover like rocks or something because the thorny devil is only active during the daytime because of how cold it is at night.
